Dr. Russo completed his undergraduate degree at Providence College. He received a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine and earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Russo and his wife moved back to Connecticut in 2001 to begin his dental career at Vernon Family Dentists. Dr. Russo loves technology and has incorporated it into every aspect of his practice. He uses digital and 3D x-rays (CBCT), digital impressions, intra-oral photography, CAD/CAM technology to provide same day permanent crowns (CEREC), 3D printing, and chair side patient education videos. He believes in educating his patients in the importance of oral health and all treatment options while providing the most up to date dental care in a gentle and compassionate manner – old time service in a high tech environment
Dr. Russo believes that learning continues throughout life and continues his dental education as a member of the Manchester Spear Study Club. He meets monthly with other local dentists to corroborate on cases, discuss all aspects of dentistry, and attends yearly Continuing Education courses in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Russo is also a member of the ADA, CSDA (CT State Dental Association), Tolland County Dental Society, and CDOC’s.
Now that his children are older, Dr. Russo enjoys spending time at the lacrosse fields watching his youngest son play HS lacrosse or road-tripping to Boston to see his two older sons in college. He also is an avid runner and has completed numerous 5k, 10k, half marathons, and full marathons, but now just runs for fun!
